Leinster Cup Final 2012

Congratulations to the U14 soccer team who won the Leinster Cup. They beat Alexandra College in a penalty shoot out.
Coaches: Mr Noone, Mr Whitty & Fr David.

"It was 0-0 at half time. Rebecca Goodwin scored from a header and then Roisin McFadden scored from 20 yards - a peach of a goal. Loreto scored one back at and in the dying minutes of the game were awarded a penalty. Eureka pressed hard in extra time but they couldn't get a lucky break. We won 4-2 in penalties and Jennifer Newman made two great saves during the penalty competition." Well done to all concerned.
