Eureka for National Tree Planting Day 2014

Dale Threadwell RTE Junior TV presenter and children’s book author came to Eureka for National Tree Planting Day. He gave talks to all year groups on biodiversity, ecology, bees and trees. He set up a plant nursery with lots of varieties of Irish native trees and planted a tree with the junior certs. The girls all had a very enjoyable talk. The project was sponsored by Crann.
