Mental Health Week 7th-13th October 2018
One of many activities been held in the school this week, to promote good Mental Health of our Whole School community. All year groups were involved in a very successful and fun Skipathon, organised by Ms. Brady and held at lunch time today. Thanks to all the students and teachers who participated. Students have also been given a "journal" to complete for themselves that incorporates the 5 strategies to Good Mental Health, Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning, Give. Tutors delivered talks in all classes to educate students on each strategy and how they can incorporate these into their everyday lives. We would encourage all members of the school community to take on the challenge of completing the journal over 5 days. We hope this will be of benefit to all our Mental Health, and we will find it a useful tool going forward. The Well-being Student & Teacher Team.
