The Crocus Project

Picture
The Crocus Project is an online educational site from Holocaust Education Trust Ireland, to create awareness of children like Anne Frank and other victims of The Holocaust, who died in concentration camps across Europe. Yellow crocuses are planted on school grounds to commemorate these children and poems, essays, pictures and posters are displayed on site and in the classroom as part of History Lessons. One of our First Year students, Emma Matthews, has written a short story entitledMaria's Crocus Bouquet and this can be read on The Crocus Project website. The Crocus Project Booklist. Guidelines for Teachers. Teacher: Ms McKenna.
