Leinster House - CSPE Action Project

Picture
Mr. Whitty's and Ms. Dillon's CSPE groups visited their local TD's in Leinster House recently. The girls made the trip to Dublin as part of their CSPE Action Project. During their visit, they watched proceedings in the both the Dáil and Seanad chambers and enjoyed a tour of government buildings. They also enjoyed a Q&A session with local TD's Damien English and Ray Butler, as well as Cork TD Jerry Buttimer. Helen McEntee TD will be popping into Eureka soon to chat with the girls about their project also.

Rang Diarmuid have recently created their own news channel as part of their Young Social Innovators Project. The students are hoping to give a voice to teenagers on issues that are relevant to them and to the wider public and thereby educate their peers on current news topics via their Youtube channel and twitter page. Log on for your news updates now. #eurnewsourway.
