Advent is a Christian season of four weeks leading up to Christmas. The word "Advent" comes from the Latin adventus, meaning "coming" or "arrival". It is a time for spiritual reflection, with each week traditionally focusing on a different theme: hope, peace, joy, and love, often represented by the four candles lit on an Advent wreath each Sunday.
